Otros Aires from Buenos Aires released so far 2 studio albums, one live album and one documentary DVD and have made 14 concert tours to Europe, North- and Southamerica. Now their third studio album “Tricota” is ready. “Tricota” is definitely the acoustic link between the tradition and the modern Buenos Aires. Recorded with different typical Tango orchestras the album invades the fundamental structures of orchestral tango in order to adore and on the other side to undermine it. This way this genre that is vivid since 130 years gets collapsed and once again rebuilt. While the band caresses the extremes and reconstructs the retro-vanguardistic concept, it performs a fundamental step in the evolution of tango: for the first time the typical tango orchestras and electronic tango are joined together in the same project.
